Spinach artichoke dip may sound healthy, but a serving of a standard recipe can have 300 calories and 10 grams of saturated fat, or about half your daily limit. Get all of the flavors and satisfaction by using this recipe for Game Day Spinach Artichoke dip instead of purchasing a fatty one. It uses creamy Greek yogurt and thick cottage cheese instead of fattier cream cheese.

Variations

  • Substitute ¾ cup of regular plain yogurt for Greek yogurt
  • For an Italian twist, add 3 tablespoons of tomato paste and 1 teaspoon each of dried oregano and basil
  • Give it a stronger flavor by reducing the mozzarella cheese to ¾ cup and increasing the parmesan cheese to ½ cup
  • Reduce the fat by using low-fat mozzarella cheese and swapping low-fat feta cheese for parmesan cheese
